America as a Foreign Culture

(Anthropology 1030)

This anthropology course offers both foreign and domestic students a chance to examine closely some of the unique features of American culture, and international students have opportunities to share information about their own cultures. The lively class discussions and frequent guest speakers make this a favorite class for students. As a bonus, OISS arranges field trips for students in the class. Anthropology 1030 counts as a social science credit for undergraduate students but graduate students are also welcome to enroll.
